Safe space for Young Black Muslims to have a voice, express themselves, connect, formulate thoughts, navigate emotions and ask questions. About this event Young Voices For ages 11-18 (open to under 11s at parental discretion). Every other Saturday Salaams, This is a youth circle for the young roots of our community! With issues of racial inequality continuing to impact the Black community, it’s important that our youth have a voice and a platform to come together, with other young Black Muslims, share thoughts and feelings and ask important questions. These sessions have been organised in direct response to Black Muslims identifying a need for a safe space for our youth to express themselves, connect, formulate their thoughts and navigate emotions. In doing so they will be in a stronger position to build towards a better future for all. These sessions are therefore open exclusively to Black Muslim youth. The conversations are youth led and participants are welcome to join and share in any way they feel comfortable.
